| Julie has been at Satori since the 2007-2008 school year. She started at Satori as a teacher’s aide in a 2nd/3rd grade Charter class for one semester. She was then asked to teach a Kindergarten/First grade and has been in that position for the past three and one half years. Julie graduated from NAU in 1995 with her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and spent several years as a substitute teacher and volunteer in her own children's classrooms before she joined the teaching staff at Satori. Julie has an energy and enthusiasm that is highly contagious. We’re excited to have her join the Charter teaching staff. |

| Kathy Dickert is a veteran teacher whose experiences span kindergarten through 5th grade. Kathy graduated from David LIpscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. She taught a year in White Bluff, Tennessee and then worked for the Amphitheater Public School District before coming to teach at Satori. This is her fourth year at Satori Charter School. Her goal is to create a warm and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. |

| Cassandra has taught at Satori for 17 years. Her post graduate work has been in the fields of gifted education, art, and languages. Cassandra says that she loves teaching at Satori because of "the endless opportunities to engage in creativity while searching for the means to challenge students and myself. I'm always amazed by the vareity of ways in which children approach problems and projects." |

Teaching is a passion of mine, and I am committed to giving all students the opportunity to discover, learn, and grow while exploring the world around them. I feel that in order to educate each child to their absolute potential, it is important to develop a relationship that encourages honesty, trust, and respect. Once these foundations are layed, the possibilites are endless! |

| Kenneth New graduated from the University of Arizona with a triple major in History, Classics, and Latin. Before that, he spent 4 years in the US Army. Ken taught Latin, Language Arts, Social Studies and AP US History at the Abbie-Loveland Tuller School for three years, and has been teaching at Satori since 2007. He is AEPA Highly Qualified in Math, Social Studies, and Latin. Ken is married and has three children, all of whom have attended Satori School. |
