Admission

Satori asks that every family interested in registering a child in the 2 ½ year old class through first grade meets initially with the Executive Director. At this meeting, parents and children hear about the opportunities Satori offers. The Executive Director will talk with the child and get a feel for his/her interests. Parents ask questions and discuss their goals. Then, the child spends time in a classroom (it can be as little as one hour or for an entire day) either with his/her parents or while the parents are touring the school. After the child has been in a classroom, the family meets with the Executive Director to ask any further questions and to talk about their child’s experience in the class.

If there is mutual agreement that the family joins Satori, the office staff will provide registration materials. Once a signed registration form and registration payment is turned in to the Satori office, a spot will be held for that child.
