Students and parents visit the classroom before the school year begins. It allows kids to see their new room and meet their teacher in a relaxed setting, which significantly helps reduce first-day anxiety and builds excitement.
First Day of School
The first day of school is dedicated to orientation and classroom preparation. Students receive their schedules, meet their teachers & classmates, and review classroom expectations and procedures. The day is designed to help students become familiar with their new environment, establish routines, and begin building a positive classroom community.
Ice Cream Social
An ice cream social is an event where students, families, and staff gather to eat ice cream and socialize in a relaxed setting.

"Rodeo Break" is a localized, two-day school holiday in Tucson, Arizona. Observed every February by most school districts, the tradition allows students and families to attend the annual Tucson Rodeo (La Fiesta de los Vaqueros) and its famous rodeo parade.

Last Day for Teachers
The "last day for teachers" refers to the post-student workdays. While students leave early, teachers stay behind to finalize grades, scrub classrooms, and complete intensive checkout procedures to get administrative approval to leave for the summer.
In-Person Registration 26-27 School Year
Families will complete any remaining forms, pay fees, and get teacher supply lists.
